I Am A Survivor
It's been almost two years since I have been diagnosed with cancer and I am happy to report I am in my second year of remission. I have done so much in the past two years- I've hiked in Italy, skiied the mountains in Utah, biked over 150 miles through the five boroughs, but most importantly, being a mom to Sophia and Olivia is more special and rewarding than anything else.
Unfortunately I will be out of the country on Sunday, August 21 when the Damon Runyon has their annual 5K run/walk for cancer research at Yankee Stadium. I plan to dedicate my bike ride of 30+ miles on September 10th to commemorate the day.
100% of money raised in this amazing event will be used by the Foundation to fund the groundbreaking work of some of the most promising young scientists, who are racing to find the causes and cures for all types of cancer. Please help me reach my goal of $2,000 for this year’s event. No donation is ever too small. Also, check to see if your company matches!
Everyone is touched by cancer and your help really does make a difference.
As always, thank you all for your constant support!
